Stan’s Story

Age at diagnosis: 5.5 years

Breed: Podenco cross

Stan is the goodest boy there is. He's a Spanish rescue. In March 2024 we noticed something was wrong, and after a week of testing, an MRI confirmed he has MUE. The veterinary neurologist told us we were very alert in spotting symptoms, which is probably why treatment worked very fast. We are now two years after the original diagnosis and Stan is having a relapse. We restarted the prednisone and are in close contact with the neurologist.
