Remus’s Story

Age at diagnosis: 2 years 6 months

Breed: Miniature Schnauzer

Remus is a very active and energetic dog, running half marathons at fast paces with me. When he got sick, he lost full mobility in both his left limbs. Once he was diagnosed and started treatment, he quickly gained movement back in his limbs. It's been almost a year and, although he doesn't have the full strength he had prior to getting sick, he has not given up! Since his diagnosis, he has completed several 5K races and even walked a slow half marathon. He may not be as fast and we may have to take several breaks, but nothing is stopping him from doing what he loves!
