Hoagie’s Story

Age at diagnosis: 8 months

Breed: Labrador Retriever X Golden Retriever

Hoagie was a future service dog training for CCI. She unfortunately fell ill at 8 months old. She is the best dog and was the best puppy. She slept through the night, never cried and never bit me to this day. When she fell sick we knew the joy and love she has would push her through! She fought hard for 4 days in the ER. She had to go back 3 weeks later after another flare up. It's been 6 months and we're doing so good! Hoagie is completely off meds and runs and plays with other dogs like normal. She's come a long way - she had to take a bit to learn how to walk again. But she is all smiles and tail wags all the time. I tell you, Hoagie has my soul like no other.
